Flexible NoSQL with MongoDB

One of our media clients ran into exactly that problem: their old SQL setup couldn’t cope with changing content formats. We rebuilt their backend on MongoDB with a schema less model, and suddenly adding new data types stopped being a crisis. Their development team could push features faster and, as they put it, “play offense instead of defense.”

With MongoDB, we also design for reliability from day one. That means replica sets for resilience, sharding for scale, and access controls so the wrong people can’t poke at sensitive data. And because failover happens automatically, even hardware hiccups don’t bring business to a halt.

It also plays nicely with the tech most of our clients already use. Pair MongoDB with Node.js or Express and you get real time data access, aggregation pipelines to crunch analytics, and systems that don’t creak under heavy load.
